That message is for the Legends only. He addressed it to Rip. If it had anything to do with the crossover, The Flash would know that Rip is missing right now, and he would've addressed it to Sara. Right?

2016-11-20 06:33:59 +0000 UTCI think the Barry message has to do with the season's plot, not the crossover, as it was sent to and only for Rip Hunter's ears. He wouldn't have been asking for help for some incident, especially not 40 years after the fact.
