Retrospective

Hey folks!

Well, here's a blast from the past! This month marks the 8th anniversary of my foray into adult comics, with my bad ending take on J. Scott Campbell's

Download yourself a copy from my Dropbox, if you're not familiar. It was one of the avant garde comics of the 90s - a time when sexiness was still allowed in the mainstream, and having our heroines look like absolute babes!

Hard to believe now, but I once had zero artistic skills. So if I wanted to have my twisted vision fulfilled, I needed a good artist. And I found one in my perfect partner-in-crime - Pirrate. Together, we spent the past eight years slowly constructing our Danger Girl Vol 1 & 2.

Throwing a quantum wrench into Page 83 of the source comic, turning out a universe where Abbey is forced to play along . . . had been itching at me well before my collaboration with SP. I had commissioned other artists over the years to just get a sweet taste of that humiliation:

Anyways, creating stories that tantalized my Sexy Spies in Sexy Troubleβ„’ kink has led me to the here and now. But sitting around lately, I found it odd that I never tried my hand at creating my own Danger Girl art. Maybe I thought DG works best in 2D, and that's how it should stay. But I gave it a try, and I was surprised at the results. I was able to grab and morph models that really come close! I tested out a few renders, and these are the ones you see along the top.

Given my limited budget on the initial DG run, the first chapter of Danger Girl Vol 1 feels very truncated. There were a lot of plot elements I wanted to flesh out, but just couldn't. I'd have liked to see Abbey go undercover to find the Peach, as the Hammer Empire cuts a swath of conquest across the globe. I'd probably have thrown a few more twists in there before she shows up pregnant at the Peach's door. πŸ˜‹

In the posted shots, you can see Abbey, the Peach, Natalia, and MΓΌller from Vol 2. I haven't tried my hand at Sydney yet, but I'm sure I'll get around to it. I'd have liked to have done a bit more world-building. I really dug The Man In The High Castle, and relished the historical stakes at play when agents have to operate within a fascist regime.

Just wanted to share this small test set as I reminisce about this past decade. I'm not sure when I'll continue with Abbey's and Sydney's stories, but at least now I've got a bit more agency as my own artist. I'm grateful for the 2D collaborations I've had over the years, and I would credit that time spent with talented artists with giving me the lessons needed to get my own thing off the ground.

Anyways, that's it for now. I hope you all enjoyed the recent Batgirl update, and stay tuned for more naughty content before we close off this month!

Cheers, folks! Have a great weekend!

Comments

Haha, no unfortunately. Both myself and SP have other projects in the pipeline that make it impossible to collaborate again on such a hefty endeavor. But the DNA in those stories are being carried on in my current comics - so I hope you like what you see so far!

Thanks very much, man! And welcome back!

Resubscribe again Das, I've always looked forward to your art and support whenever I can. Danger Girl will always be my favorite on buxom babes getting knocked up against their will, nice fertilization shots and healthy growing babies. This 3D one is just as awesome as the comic. Keep making great work!
