After all he's your bestie, the one person you trust with your life, your only hope of surviving this frightening situation. You want to get his attention so badly, but at the same time you're painfully aware of the danger you're in. You don't want to cause an itch that'd trigger in him the urge to scratch. He'd never know that this barely noticeable irritation he casually got rid of was his desperate best friend. And even if you managed to get his attention somehow - would he really look closely enough and recognize you? Or would he just dismiss this puny little thing as just another ant to be crushed...
