While there is a low possibility that those two would get together now, he does still hold enough feelings for her where he wants to see her happy. That would also fulfill his young adult wish of ‘saving her’ from the theocracy. I wouldn’t be surprised if Zero had her use the gear she used in the light novel considering Lin would want to be in top shape to face against Satoru. Especially since she believes he is much stronger than he lets on. This would also show Satoru that the gods really were players and focus more of his attention on Slain, maybe start helping with the elves in exchange for seeing the rest of their treasury and the other gods gear.

2025-10-15 08:38:17 +0000 UTCI am curious as to what will happen next i regards to Lin with her pursuing Satoru. Right now, while she does not know what race he is, she at the very least thinks he is a humanoid and not an undead, and those should be able to mate with her. What is making me curious is how she will play this. With her assuming he is a mortal, possibly human, that means she has a time limit she has to work with to achieve her goal. She not only has to work with the fact that, since she thinks he is human, he will have a human lifespan of around 80 years, and since Satoru is around 30, she actually has only around 50 years to achieve her goal. While that might seem like a lot to us, to a girl who is a half-elf and probably do to her long life span sees a human life span as so short she might not even realize how much time has actually passed it is a very short period of time. If she is aware of this this I will put a sense of urgency in her doing to, as far as she is concerned, she will blink and Satoru will die of old age. There is also the fact since most of her time is stagnantly guarding the vault, it probably means she will notice even less how much time will pass. Then there is the additional angle of fertility and given what her goal is, I doubt she has not done research, so she should know that the older Satoru (a possibly human or humanoid) gets the less viable he will be. Meaning that reproduction with him will be that much harder. So in actuality, she has a window of around 15 years to have the maximum possible success. This leads me to think that really soon, like in the next two arcs, we should be seeing Lin either begin or make her move to actually escape the theocracy, again, for another outing to actually battle Satoru with everything she has. Using the best weapon she can get away with taking from the vault she is guarding. I doubt she can take Shashaanas Syth and the wind god's armor, but she will probably take some lesser item to use in battle.
