Natsuki Subaru is a useless dropout who gave up on life before even starting to live it. Just a Village Girl:
This story tells the tale of a farmer girl with the dream of seeing more of the world. Enri Emmot is just an average village girl who never went beyond the borders of her family's fields. She dreams of freedom, but with a younger sister to care for and a father getting older each year, she understands that the good of her family comes before her own selfish desires... though, all might change for her once a strange and unknown Magic Caster decides to set up his house in her village... what is a curious girl to do when presented with such a golden opportunity to explore the unknown?

While surveying the capital to organize the takeover of Eight Fingers and Plan Gehenna, Demiurge stumbles upon a dying human girl being thrown away like a discarded toy. Giving in to his instincts he come closer to enjoy the last moments of the girl’s fleeting life. Though she surprises him when she manages to grasp the tip of his shoe begging for help. Demiurge ponders if he should kill her for the insolence of touching something his Creator gifted him but seeing the broken state of both her body and spirit, he recalls some of the words of his own creator. “How should a human who detests their own race live their life?” he had no idea if his glorious Creator ever found an answer to his inquiry but, if not, he will do it for him.

The village girl one seems like a wholesome story of an innocent girl helping a necromancer on his journey of collecting corpses and misunderstandings. Kinda nice from their perspective but messed up from everyone else's. Even if it doesn't win this time, hope to see it in the future

2024-11-09 15:29:11 +0000 UTCOpinions are always welcomed, and you pointing out both the point on that special and Gate is extremely fair as i acknowledge them myself. Maybe when counting votes you forgot that Acolyte = 1 vote, Devoted = 3 votes, and Death Follower = 5 votes. Also, i agree on you with the dislike for canon Gate, i don't think it is a very great series mostly due to the vision the author wants to give on the japanese military. When i watched it for the first time as a teen i didn't realize it, but looking back at it, it was kinda very propagandistic, hence why there is no Japan in my crossover.

And you do you man, stuff happens. I'm just saying what I think on the matter but don't take it as me rolling out my pitchfork and torch (shit, I forgot where I put them...). Perhaps I was just annoyed at the Gate most likely winning again, I just don't like that one, but that's purely because I don't like Gate, as in the original material.

And yes, it ended up being a flop due to a lot of stuff i am not confortable going into details due to privacy. Of that, of course, i am sorry, but that was the only time a poll did not have a follow up on it. Also, if Gate wins again, i will remove it from the next polls as it basically has a guaranteed win rate. I mean, it won the last two polls so winning a third would be kinda meh. Sorry you feel this way tho.

Sorry man, I like you and your works but I gotta say this: what's even the point of those polls if one suggestion wins and is then promptly ignored? And now with the Gate thing that apparently has gained its own traction and won't let other ideas get through, why bother at all.
