Mporci drawing method tutorial

Hii, here is a small explanation of how I ussually draw and how I organize my work, maybe if you are interested in drawing this can help you ^^.

What app I use?

I started with paint tool sai, then moved to fire alpaca and last to clip studio paint, lately this past year and months I started using more apps, like infinite painter (for android), ibis paint(for android)  and Krita.

The apps actually I use are mainly Clip Studio in PC but I use sometimes Krita as a sustitute and paint tool sai 2 for practicing sketches.
In android I use mainly Krita and for practicing sketches Infinite painter.

To be honest I recommend you to use krita if you want to start in digital or want a full professional app.

For having references in hand I use the app pureref.

Makima was drawn fully on infinite painter

Neighbour tf page 3 was drawn almost only in Ibis paint.

How I draw?

0.- If the app let me I start the timelapse recording

1.- First of all I draw the rough sketches, then I low the opactiy and draw the sketches.

1.5- I place the panels in the top of the layers, I use rectangle and line tools, ussually apps has panel creator tools but I never use them.

2.-when the sketches are done I low the opacity of the sketch layer and color that layer as blue.

3.-Then I create a folder and start working in the lineart . 

4.-Once the lineart is done I create a base color layer and make the color.

5.- When the color is done I create a shadow layer in multiply mode and made all the shadows with a pink tone like this, ussually I use three values of this pink tone, light,mid,and darker.

After I made all the shadows I go to the color layer and then select and filter some colors, I do this because then I will go to the shadow layer and then with the tone changer adjust the tone of the shadows.

For example

white color, red color will have blue shadow

6.- After the shadow and color is done I create the bright layer in top of the line layer, the bright layer will have all the bright effects, effects, blushes,sfx...

7.- Then I create the color line in the top of the line layer and adjust it to only color the line, I use this layer to color some lines with a darker value of the base color, to create a better integration between color and line.

8.- when this is done the character or object it's done If I want to separate the character of the background (the background has the same structure as the 5 previous points) I select all the folder and then make the selection a little bigger in all the directions, then I create a layer in the bottom of the color layer and I color the layer with the fill tool.

9.- When all of this is done I go to the top of the panel layer and I writte all the text needed.

10.- After this I remove the sketch layers, export the timelapse and the drawing is finally done.
