This is the first recording on the new pc with a fresh installation of OBS. That means all the audio settings are redone, and there is potentially a different audio experience for you.
Let me know how it sounds overall. Keep in mind that Monster has pretty low dialogue volume levels anyhow, compared to most of the other anime we watch. Also FINALLY switched mics over as I got this one last year during the prime sale and never set it up LOL

The storybook scene was 10/10 creepy. Excellent addition to the flow.

So, late feedback about the audio : It's completely fine and now I don't have to crank up the volume from 50 to 90 to hear the episode correctly and that alone is a big enhancement.

2025-11-06 14:28:39 +0000 UTCAudio sounds good to me, no issues. We finally get the reveal on the picture book, and it was the end credits all along. I like the uncertainty we always have about Johan. We are 100% certain he has the capacity to kill and influence others to kill, yet at the same time he has this weird childlike quality where he's quoting lines out of a picture book that say "Look at how big the monster inside me has become" that make us feel like we still don't understand him or what he's thinking. Also last episode I can't help but laugh at Lunge being so obsessed with someone and convinced that he's right, that's he is actively trying to become that person and incidentally living as if he has a split personality himself. He's so convinced of Tenma's split personality being Johan that he's given himself a split personality of Tenma (kind of).
