2025-09-06 06:43:27 +0000 UTCThe hypothetical Death Note show you were talking about did make me think of another anime out there that is similar in the basic concept of what you said, where the first 2/3 the show you are under the impression you know the general idea of what's going on, and then suddenly it takes a hard turn. It definitely gives that immense feeling of discovery when you encounter a show like that completely blind, hence why I'm not giving anymore specifics for anyone who may one day watch it.
