WIP: VR Edit Mode

Hello everyone! Here's a preview of an upcoming feature I'm developing.

With this new mode, you can adjust most VR settings using mouse and keyboard instead of having to navigate to the GUI.

WTRTI v2.4 RC3 PRO - RELEASED!

Hey everyone!

In this update, DCS support has been improved drastically, along with QoL improvements and bug fixes.

A new method of DCS plugin installation was added, which allows for much easier setup.

So now to make WTRTI work with DCS, all you need to do is open Settings -> Advanced tab and click the 'DCS World plugin' Install button.

WTRTI v2.4 RC1 PRO - RELEASED!

Hey everyone!

In this update, I'm introducing a new feature, the "Vehicle Profile" window for auto-loading profiles.

Now you can easily assign multiple vehicles to a specific profile, eliminating the need for the old method of naming profiles by vehicle name.

This window also supports vehicle search and multi-select for adding and deleting vehicles from the list.

WTRTI v2.3 WIP13

General:

  • Added an experimental "Crash Check System" (Settings -> Advanced tab). By default the system is disabled.

    Detects when you:

    - Hit the ground/something or was knocked down.

    - Drowned

In case of a crash, the sound playback will be stopped and optionally the OSD will be hidden (Settings -> Advanced tab -> "Hide OSD when crashed").

WTRTI v2.3 WIP12

General:

  • Windows: Added Direct3D 11 Renderer for rendering built-in OSD and "Plot" Window. 

  On Windows systems it will be enabled by default.

  You can switch renderers at Settings -> OSD -> Renderer.

  Also, since SteamVR now uses a shared d3d11 texture instead of inter-op with OpenGL, VR performance could improve.


Fixes:

Implemented Direct3D 11 Renderer. On Windows systems it will be enabled by default. 

Potentially it should give you better performance and less CPU usage, especially with AMD graphics cards. Because the AMD OpenGL driver is not as good on Windows as it is on Linux.

For example, on an R5 5600g (with iGPU), I've got 50-75% less CPU usage with D3D11 than OGL.
