Good luck to everyone dealing with Hurricane Helene! We just go through our own over here not too long ago, and this one looks particularly scary. I hope you're all doing okay!
After falling in love with Jason and the Friday the 13th franchise but not so much Freddy and the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise, we decided we'd give another horror icon a shot - namely Chucky! We watched the very first Child's Play movie, expecting just a cheesy horror romp. But damn... that was a good-ass movie! Chucky was genuinely creepy, able to build tension just by being present in any scene. The victims too were incredibly well acted, the most sympathetic victims we've seen in a slasher. Though it's hard to even really count this one as a slasher, as it kind of effortlessly blends elements of a detective crime drama with its Chicago setting to make something completely unique. I know the rest of the franchise can't be this tone, but I'm still very much interested to see where the series goes from here.

I still think this is a test, he wants to know if the people Suria and Steg are truely in this to the end and not just trying to get their kicks or make a quick buck.

They're not the kind to sell out and Sterling is naive if he thinks they are. No hurricane in the UK. Just very wet autumnal weather. Hunker down and stay safe and intact over there

2024-09-27 00:38:25 +0000 UTCHmmm... Given Suria already noticed something off with Coral, kinda hard to say that keeping this from her and Steg is the best approach. Might just stress her knowing something is off but that her crew isn't willing to be open about it. Then again, she's just as likely to be OK with them telling her when they're ready. Either way, there's a lot riding on this roll of the dice.
