I'm renewing my subscription for this one. Haikyuu!! is the show that made me fall in love with this sport, and I'm very thankful for it. I think my passion for sports and being athletic mostly comes from watching it back in school. Since then, I've rewatched it around 10 times and have been playing volleyball myself for 7 years now. I hope you'll enjoy it too and get to witness one of the most detailed portrayals of the sport with a great span of characters

2025-05-20 14:05:15 +0000 UTCHaikyu is unrealistic for sure but I think learning the basics goes pretty fast especially for the MC that has superior athletic abilities. It's akin to being able to return a ball in ping pong or tennis. I argue the other way around, the MC played volleyball for years in middle school but still can't return balls yet? I know he didn't have good people to practice with but I think they're leaning too much on needing quality people to get anywhere.

2025-05-19 23:44:00 +0000 UTCYeah Yuki Hayashi is a phenomenal composer there's endless variety in every show he works on. His work on My Hero Academia is his most iconic for good reason but the Haikyu OST has some of his best stuff especially later on.

2025-05-19 23:25:09 +0000 UTCIdk exact time frame btw, but I believe it was 4 days of consistent practicing for Hinata, probably still not enough time for HOW much he had to learn, but this is definitely one of those downsides anime has where 4 days has to pass in a 20 minute span and it feels like someone became way too good way too fast because of it
