I've been steadily working on the rebrand to head(amame) and cleaning up the site for the upcoming LTX Expo and just wanted to share one of my favorite new shots here first.

I had a fair number of people mention that they would want to buy filament through the site.. I would love to hear comments about Material type, brands you use, preferred colors, price, etc. are there any gaps in the market that you wish we could fill?

Thanks to Robbos posting in the Patron section of the Discord, I was able to make a further adjustment to the spring clamp so that it no longer fouls the earpad mount.

I mustache you a question...
Can you try out this spring clamp on your V2's? The adjustability of the spring should be way easier, and a lot better in the vertical plane. What does that mean? It means that this should allow the cones to tilt more for you and reduce the pressure above your ears when wearing the V2 head(amame).
I've also added a preload to the spring clamp, so that it should line up better with the outer circle of the cones when the spring is inside.&...

If you are looking for something to print this week, it would be a big help if some people sliced the included 3MF's and let us know if you see any issues with them. We are hoping to get these released this week or next, and when we do the Patron's will be getting the Open-Back version!

Who saw this one coming? Luckily we are having good luck adapting the min(amame) files to the larger head(amame) shape. One day soon we will be able to get the V2 beta files in your hands for testing.
This brings about a poll or two that you can participate in as we make some design choices.

We are still here! We just wanted to pop in and let you know we continue to push forward in the world of high end 3D Printable Projects!
head(amame) v2 will be a welcome update to the existing model, implementing a number of much needed quality of life changes. Patrons will have the opportunity to test out parts, and provide feedback as we work toward the next step in 3D Printed HiFi.

The standoffs that transfer the screw clamping force have been relocated to the driver mounts so that you can easily slide the headband clamp on and off the bumper mount. This means you have much easier access to the threaded insert, and bumper for assembly.

We've got three exciting announcements for you this week!
A big reason why this was delayed is because I had to rework the design of the driver mounts. The new design transfers the fastener clamping force to the cones in a way that GREATLY improves assembly. It also saves support material by making the driver mount two parts.

40mm drivers and nice velvet earpads. The 40mm drivers are in stock, and earpads are on the way! We will carry cables eventually, but for patrons we will just link an Amazon option to get you going sooner.
