tbf, at least in regards to that, there is some truth to it, even if he were to watch everything in the poll from most popular to least, it will be literal months if not years before he would move out the top 2, and the way the polls work, with people posting what should replace a show in the comments, it is entirely likely for a show to not show up again, recency bias and all that, either way though it will be interesting to see how tony handle his first high school rom com

Besides Makeine (haven't watched it), I believe all the shows on this list are class on their own right. I didn't even consider OPM ending could be replaced by another funny show from here! If you'd consider it, depending on what the second place is, I'd highly recommend Kaguya-sama as a replacement for OPM and either Prison School or Kill La Kill for the cringe tier (Kill La Kill is winning 2nd place atm).

ya, but again, its subjective, while i personally do think he might, keyword MIGHT, not like kaguya, that also implies that he might, once again keyword MIGHT, like it as well, he hasn't really done well with kid stuff, or things aimed at teenagers and below, it will be interesting, i give it 60/40 odds against, ie 60 that he won't like, 40 that he will like.

@drumrolltony i will say, this is one of the shows where the dub and sub are both quality, the thing with the dub is that the jokes, cause its a comedy anime, are much more localized to american/western, whereas alot of the jokes in the sub are more japanese centric, i wouldn't say that its 2 shows wiht the same visuals, but it is a different experience lol, either way is great though.

I will never not be confused how some of these shows end up on the polls. I know why the viewers like them (myself included) but I just cannot imagine suggesting some of them for Tony. Not super confident Kaguya will last in the rotation but maybe I'll be wrong.

Kaguya-Sama is one of my favorite shows of all time but I do sort of agree with the folks saying there's not really anything in it that warrants the show being on the cringe/degen tier. It's all a matter of perspective though, to someone that has never seen a romance anime some of tropes may come off as quite cringe and there is a single episode that if you know you know absolutely belongs on the degen tier. I'm more then happy to see Kaguya-Sama get voted on regardless of what tier it's in though.

It’s a cringe anime for different people who aren’t used to watching romcoms that tend to come with “uncomfortable” tropes. However this is the first time a Romcom like this will win, who knows it might not be cringe enough since Kaguya also has a great story.

Kaguya is actually good, like seriously. At least I think so lol. One of the only romance anime I both liked and found really funny (one episode in particular is in my all time favorites). The other anime I’d put in a similar category of being great romance is The Dangers in My Heart, tho that one is less funny and more endearing to me. Anyway Kaguya is super popular for a reason so it’s definitely winning this one lol. We’ll see if Tony likes it, will definitely help weed out some others if he doesn’t

I think eminence is the bad kind of cringe where it just becomes kind of boring. But also consider that to the average Shonen anime fan there's nothing more cringe than watching a rom com. Suggest a rom com to your most normie friend who only watches attack on titan and demon slayer and then tell me the look they give you doesn't make you cringe

ehhh, i both agree and dis-agree wiht you, what it really comes down to is how you define cringe, because at the end of the day kaguya is a teenage romantic comedy, turned up to 11, and teenage romance, at least when i was one, is cringe naturally lol. BUT if you compare it to, say, highschool of the dead, eminence in shadow, then cringe really means something else, either way i dont think tony will like it, but its a great show, though im trying to remember what parts you wouldn't watch with someone else?

I love Kaguya but there's no need for it to be T3, Grand Blue or Prison School would be a way better fit for the actual premise of T3. Oh well, ce'est la vie. Still glad Kaguya is getting a shot one way or the other. Edit: Based on some other comments I've seen I may have slightly misunderstood the actual "premise" of T3 (I wasn't here when it was started), so it's cool.
