There's a slight audio issue in this episode where the sound is doubled in a few spots due to my new monitor messing with OBS settings. I didn't notice until export, and I can’t re-record an hour-long reaction, but it's not too bad.
What an amazing arc. I really had no clue how cool this would all get. Demon Slayer is definitely in my top 10 at this point. Top 5 for visual geeking out moments for sure. This was such a great arc with the story, characters, fights, OST and massive compliments to the chef for not sprinkling in 🟨 lul
So now the training arc. Excited for that.

2025-03-11 09:12:33 +0000 UTCI was like you Tony when it seemed imminent that they were gonna kill Nezuko and then they kept leaning into it more and more all I could think was "don't you dare" especially when characters survive all the time in anime from crazier situations, but then they leaned into it so hard with the montage and the music. I really fell for it but I'm happy with the result. Much better to have a character you really like, not want them to die, and also feel the gravity of the moment, but still have the relief of them getting to survive. As someone who doesn't have the answers I think there's some merit to what Tanjiro said about all the demons being so self serving, while she sacrifices herself for humans just before getting a full blast of the sun. I'm hoping to get some good answers though.

Like the other guy said, ufotable can manage because Demon Slayer is literally the only show they've worked on for the past like 5 years and even then they only do one or two extended episodes a season. If more studios normalized doing 45 minute episodes we'd start getting a lot of quantity over quality problems which is something we already see too much of in the industry.

2025-03-10 19:45:32 +0000 UTCNezuko being able to conquer the sun has been seared into my mind. Got to be one of my favorite Demon Slayer moments. 👏 And all the music leading up to that event really takes the viewer for a ride. Exceptional and outstanding work from the composition team.

2025-03-10 19:43:09 +0000 UTCWhile not my favorite arc, the finale was legit something else in terms of visuals and storytelling! Definitely one of the stronger episodes of the franchise! I think next season overall isn't one that's too hype, but it's very short and easy to consume, plus it contains really nice moments here and there so can't wait for that!

The characters I was a freaking waterfall because I thought we had lost nezuko! The way they Incorporated that the surprise at the end and then the back story just this whole episode was peak

Imagine not even Tanjiro having sympathy for you as a demon, that’s rough lol. Last Arc was “flashy” but I would say this arc was “graceful”. I think next arc is supposed to have anime original content as well as the return of the trio like old times xD

Yeah next arc will be over with very quickly but I am looking forward to hearing your thoughts for the OP and ED next season! Good luck with your musical writing for the drumline in the meantime 🤘
