Objectively great for someone who has interest in music like this. It is very great. I'm with you. Some randos with no culture into anything past top 40 might not have the patience to soak in said greatness

When your whole body shivers through the listening experience and at every listen you can enjoy the ornamentations of each part... Maybe saying it's the best is subjective, but saying it's objectively great ? I think it's a fair statement

I think most peoples favorite theme and by extension game comes down to whatever one they either played first or played the most of. For me personally the Civ 6 theme will always be my favorite but I also think the Civilization Revolution theme, while very simple compared to this is hugely underrated. Also Civ 7, 6 and 4 all had their main themes composed by Christopher Tin.

2025-03-07 21:27:44 +0000 UTCWow haha. When I think of main themes I think of Fromsoftware games, however I had no clue Civ had masterpieces like this! Iβve been digging grand sounding pieces like this as of recent as iβm currently playing Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, so really enjoyed this myself.
