Kids on the slope had some great moments, but in the first episode, this one gave us a much more realistic look at the process even though it has some obligatory drama. I was ready to not dig it in the 1st ten minutes, but it massively turned around and spawned a wild tangent Tony

2025-02-19 20:24:53 +0000 UTCCarole and Tuesday has a TON of cheesy moments in it (which you could guess by the premise alone) but to me that’s offset by just the pure quantity and variety of the music in this show, also it gets into some real shit so I hope you enjoy the ride. Also it’s set in the same year and universe as Cowboy Bebop (2071), them being in the same universe has no bearing on the plot buts it’s still a pretty fun fact.

2025-02-19 20:04:36 +0000 UTCPersonally I've dropped the show after.. 10-13 episodes or so. I loved some of the music but the plot was so freaking dumb that I put it on a back burner and basically never came back to it. I guess this is a good opportunity to give it a second chance!

2025-02-19 19:44:47 +0000 UTCPart of the reason why I love Carole and Tuesday and why it is my favorite music anime is because of how down to Earth it feels at times. Ironic since this is set on Mars. There are real human/relatable moments that you do not find in other anime. There are a handful of cheese moments along this journey, but I can forgive that because of everything else it offers. A theme of organic music verses AI music feels under explored in media.
