2025-04-12 13:34:44 +0000 UTCI'm two months late to this, but just in case you ever see this comment. Lancelot's depiction in F/Z is a nice touch for medieval literature nerds like myself. Lancelot in the various Arthurian legends, particular in the era of the french romances, was often depicted as going on his adventures in disguise, and aweing those he interacted with via his amazing combat prowess, rescuing maidens and the sort, before he settled down with the Round Table (and eventually became the major reason for the tragic end of the Round Table by falling in love with Guinevere).
