End of a chapter

Sorry for the absence of work. To put it up front I’m going to discontinue this patreon.

My job switched up my schedule and as a result I can’t paint on my long commutes and trips as I usually did on my iPad. I was barely home doing any work.

I’m surrounded by family and friends, followed by responsibilities on the homefront which greatly limits how much time I have to complete paints. The paints take half a day sometimes while I barely have a couple hours to myself to paint...

Schedule update

Just a heads up. Haven’t been very active. I’m going to keep suspending billing cycle until I get my schedule figured out.

My position changed a bit at my job a few weeks ago. I used to paint on transit and long trips because I travel a lot for what I do. But this change effected my windows of time that I used to paint in.

Paints are coming. Next one is a suggestion that’s long overdue.  But until I get a more stable schedule and feel the work is worth it i’m going to...

Delay in posts

Sorry for the quietness. Just had a family member pass a couple days ago and forgot I hadn’t brought up a delay here. Just old age.

Just two more days and I’ll be back up :) Just hadn’t thought about drawing. Might sneak something in anyway. It’s fun and takes the mind off. lol We’ll see.

Also my job is changing. slightly. Just shifting around. Hard to balance this stuff and my career.

ZPD Evidence room lock-up.

I know this isn’t the evidence room in the movie. But I just wanted something with depth so I can go easier on the detail for a first 3D environment. This was much easier that painting lol

If I do another comic within the year I might consider beuilding 3D sets that I can render at all the angles I need. Make some hyper detailed pages. Depending on how this final paint looks.

After Knotty

Knotty will be done with a 17th page I think. This comic has immensely helped my and my ability to sketch. My anatomy isn’t the best yet but I think I can draw more complex scenes.

I plan to start sketching more random characters again. I’ll be back to Gadget H, and whoever else I drew. But if any has ideas for other characters along the lines of Judy, Gadget, Lola B, etc. Let me know here with a comment of DM me if you want 😊

Annoying ipad update

My ipad had a hardware issue with the gpu. Which caused the procreate bugs for the past few weeks.

Got it replaced. And now this new ipad failed after a day.............fml

At least it work perfectly for 12 hours. Got to sneak in page 14 of Knotty.

Another appointment set for tomorrow. As annoying as apples practices are. Thank goodness the support is top notch and...

Update

TLDR My iPad has an issue preventing some features in procreate. iPad will be getting fixed. I’m out for a day or two from drawing.

I’ll be finishing up Knotty in a couple pages. But first I’m taking my ipad in now to get checked. Some api thing that the team at procreate talked about. The bug might be within my tablet itself. Dunno what that means. But tech support can’t diagnose my issue.

Really trying to get back in the color. Daylight is also something I struggle with a lot. Seems to be a good start.

Question.

Is this page even good? I drew 3 versions of it. Never even did two for any other page. I wanted disney cartoon exaggeration  to try get Judy’s jolt. But Felt it was too much. Hence saying it might change. I also have 5 layer versions of her face. Something I’m trying to learn is acting for comics. I toned back her jolt slightly. I saw people shrink the eyes a lot in their comics. But looks weird. I made a new version. Larger eyes and small adjusted details.
