There was a scene in episode 16 where they were both at that place with that locked cabinet puzzle (melting metal key) and Maomao was like "hey, he looks like Gaoshun!" noticing similar mannerism and such.

2025-02-08 15:47:32 +0000 UTCI'm quite positive Maomao learns that Basen is Gaoshun's son in season 1. She doesn't know that at first when she first meets Basen, but later on at some point she learns of his ties to Gaoshun.

2025-02-08 14:55:23 +0000 UTCYeah, Maomao has seen a couple of things that clued her in to the fact that they are more than meets the eye. Of course, Jinshi doing that ceremony where he was almost assassinated was the biggest example. But I don't remember her ever finding out more, which is why I was confused that she knew about Gaoshun's family. I was wondering if someone here in the community knew when she found out about that. We, the viewers, found out about his family while they were drinking the medicine. Gaoshun mentioned it might make them impotent, but that he would be fine with it since he had kids already, and actually already had a grandkid.

2025-02-08 00:11:24 +0000 UTCI thought Maomao didn't know Jinshi and Gashun's true identities, but here, she knows Gaoshun has a wife and kids, so she knows he's not a eunuch. But she clearly still thinks Jinshi is a eunuch (we can say pretty confidently that he's not because of that scene in S1 where he and Gaoshun were drinking that medicine to "suppress their manhood", presumably so they can pretend to be eunuchs). There was that scene in S1 where she saw Gaoshun standing with other officers during an event, and concluded he was a high ranking officer. Is that when she found out? Or did she find out off camera at some point? 🤔

2025-02-07 09:26:52 +0000 UTCThat thing that keeps popping up, do you have a wireless keyboard or something? ErgoFS is not known to me. I used to have a similar issue with my wireless mouse, it would turn itself off and I had to move it for 1-2 seconds for it to connect back, and every time a notification from g hub would pop up but I fixed it by instead of having the app regulate the mouse, have the settings in the actual mouse's memory. Most modern wireless peripherals have a memory mode for such cases.
