I'm pretty much just repeating what the creator of Epic himself said about it being a "Concept" Musical. With as much success as it's had so far, I believe the intent is to make it a full fledged musical production in the future though! Fingers crossed it comes to fruition someday

2025-01-31 16:14:34 +0000 UTCIt is! Well, more accurately it's a concept musical. No professional stage-play or production yet, but all the music itself is finished and available on YouTube. The whole thing is split up into multiple "Sagas" that each have between 3-5 songs. A very enjoyable experience, especially if you also watch the animations made by the fanbase/community to go with each song.
