Work on the next video is going swell but it's taking a while due to its length.

Replacing Discord with Patreon Chat

Hey everyone!

I have removed the "Discord benefits" reward from all Patreon tiers. For those unaware, it gave you access to a dedicated Patreon channel on the fan-operated Discord server.

Since Patreon introduced a built-in chat feature about a year ago, the Discord channel has become redundant.

You can still join the Discord server as a regular member, but you won't be assigned a Patreon role anymore, and I'm rarely online myself these days.

Tiny Christmas Update

God jul everyone!

I don't have much to share yet about the next video, but I didn't want the year to end without at least saying something.

The video is coming along nicely. Literally haven't run into any major roadblocks on this one. It's about space this time around, and it's shaping up to be my longest documentary yet.

I don't have a time-table for release yet, it's too early for that. But I'll post some updates and images once the video gets closer to release.

Some updates about Patreon and YouTube memberships.

First:

I have enabled YouTube memberships on my channel, so if you prefer supporting me via YouTube instead of Patreon, you can now do that.

It works the same as Patreon - same tiers, perks, and all that - so it's just another option in case you prefer using YouTube.

The only real difference is that YouTube takes a 30% cut while Patreon only takes 5%, so more of your money...

Hey, as some of you have already noticed, the channel hit 5 million subscribers yesterday!

Thank you all so much. What an incredible milestone to hit on the same day the new video goes live. The video could've easily been finished a few weeks or days before that so this was pure coincidence.

The video is now nearing completion but the rendering is still gonna take a while. The next thing I post will be the video.

Chapter twelve is done! One more to go...

This final chapter will probably take like a week. It's quite long and I'm not entirely sure how to visualize everything yet. After that, I'll record the final narration, add music, and polish everything. Once all that's done, I'll start to render out all the 3D scenes (there's a lot of them in this one) before rendering the final video. I have no idea how long the rendering will take but it's the only major time sink left. I'll keep you updated...

Okay, so that took a while. The next chapter is also quite long and complicated so I suspect it will take about as long to complete. I'm honestly surprised that no one has correctly guessed some of the previous images. They're a bit obscure but they're not that obscure either. Anyway, this one should be easy enough. Good luck :)
