I wouldn't be here if I hadn't consciously made the choice to seek out doing things I love for healing my ptsd and got this sub gifted. My mother recently send me clothes from a place where she's working where people donate stuff that's as good as new. Just at the end I noticed the seahawk on your jacket and was like wtf?! Cause she send me a longsleeve from the Seattle Seahawks... and I just googled and found out you're the musical director of them. And Football isn't really a thing here in germany... like I haven't come across clothing from a US football team here ever... what are the chances?!... and it's happening while I'm watching Stein's Gate.... what the fuuck...

A lot of anime girl characters, that are supposed to be cute, are becoming anoying very soon due to constant usage of chibi animation, high pitch voice and emotional expression exaggeration. But that's not the case here. Her empathy is not intrusive, voice is perfectly leveled, her appiarance on the screen is exactly when the story needs her and her delivery is always on point. 10/10 of anime character design

2024-09-17 16:42:36 +0000 UTCI think the S;G dub is well-recognized to be one of the best out there, and even after playing and loving the original games (which use the same Japanese voice actors) I still gravitate towards it. But there is no denying that SONUVABITCH delivery is top tier haha

2024-09-16 22:10:33 +0000 UTCI think the great thing about the S;G cast is seeing how no matter what the time line, whatever the circumstances, this band of misfits is always there for and willing to support one another. Those first 12 episodes do such a good job of not just setting up the billiard balls for all hell to break loose in our sci-fi plot when it comes time to break, but also in just establishing the cast and all their little relationships with one another. The unique and tight bonds they all have with each other really shine through and get explored thoroughly when you have them constantly thrust into different situations every episode and confronting new problems together. Each episode really adds dimensions to every character in a way only a time travel story can. When only one character actually gets to remember what's happened in the storyline so far, it presents so much opportunity with exploring different sides of the rest of the cast through their interactions that happen in any given timeline.

2024-09-16 19:24:49 +0000 UTCGiven that you already seem to be infatuated with a rewatch of the Anime(which is great, probably among my favourite rewatches of all time), you might find it interesting to play the visual novel, while on a plane or train or something, it has a lot more content, while retaining the qualityof the anime (there's a reason It's the highest rated VN on VNDB). But it's like a 40hr read if you want to see all the endings, so it might take a couple trips. This is also a recommendation to everyone else who hasn't read it, it's great and worth your time, even if you know every detail of the Anime, maybe even especially then.
