2024-04-17 16:41:27 +0000 UTCYeah this and Death note both do such a good job of characterizing their protagonists its hard not to root for them. Although I'm not sure I'd fully consider Lelouch a 'villain' per se even though he's clearly got some screws loose and willing to go to extreme measures his goal could at least be considered noble. Whereas even though you could make a similar argument about Light at the beginning of Death Note it becomes clear pretty quickly that he really did just want to become a god and so fits well and truly in the 'villain category'. Anyway just my 2 cents. Looking forward to your reactions for where things go from here.
