Very different shows! Definitely, Vinland Saga. It's one of the best seinens out there and it would be a pleasure to follow it with you. And I'd recommend you to watch 'Berserk' (1997) right after if you want to dive deeper into the gender. Mature themes, violence, war, humanity... That's amazing. And once you watch it, you know Berserk is life itself.
