The opening has scenes in it of Junpei showing him wearing the Jujutsu Kaisen school uniform and doing school stuff with the other members of the class, so people who were watching the anime but hadnt read the manga were all like "oh, can't wait to see how he saves this character so he can come to the school". And then this.
