Your Lie In April Ep 9

This ep was a turning point.  The story is getting very transparent on how sad this actually is.

Your Lie In April Ep 9

Comments

unfortunately in japan that is more common, the idea of everyone there own parent and no-one has a right to interfere, combine with the collective culture, combined with the more heavily conservative culture, combined with everything else, parental abuse is more common in japan, Korea, china, than in other place, where it exists as well, but not to the same degree. and then you add in the obvious mental illness of the mom trying to live vicariously through her son with the breakdown from the disease.. we jokingly call them soccer moms in the US but we got that shit as well

Red Menace

My theory is that he played with emotions instead of his metronome style when his mom was watching as a kid. I think he was just too happy to finally have his mom watching him that he forgot. Which makes him lash out even more at his mom's comments when he won even though he wasn't playing at his best

Jet Man

It's a little silly but a year and a half ago when I watched this, I was inspired to play violin. I got myself one soon after, without any music experience. I've been taking my time learning how to read music and use proper technique. It's fun to make cool sounds though ^-^
