One thing I always think about with this episode is how much insight we get into Denji's thinking that I feel like a lot of people understandably overlook is while Denji is clearly mentally immature in most ways like being so focused on tits yet he always does this thing where he thinks about how others feel and tries to relate to that in his own way even if he usually comes to a immature conclusion or just ignores those thoughts. Like how when he see's the cat get eaten and how much that hurts Power his first thought is how scared he was when he couldn't find pochita and wonders what it feel like for Power to miss the cat for that long rather than how she tried to kill him. He is deep down deeply empathetic and actually has some really great lines of thinking but unfortunately due to his situation and childhood has defaulted to ignoring those lines of thought. Denji really has a lot more going for him as a character than people at this point give him credit for because of how he acts out and its really interesting how his mind works and just how empathetic he is even if his immaturity pretty much always leads him to sidelining those thoughts.

Power proposes a deal, and then Denji turns around with the quickness, and the music starts. You can hear the HYPE and total mood switch in Denji's voice, and then just Power going "HOH! :O!" over and over lmfao.

2023-11-26 14:54:30 +0000 UTCOne thing that doesn't come across in the subs or the dub that well is that Power talks like an old man... which is what Denji said was creepy about the way she talks. Also in the end song the "broke core" bit is all onomatopoeias for chainsaw sounds.

Just off the top of my head, you can spot Pulp Fiction, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Big Lebowski. There are a few others, but I've never seen those movies.
