Checkup Blues!
Added 2020-12-28 18:41:12 +0000 UTCIt's done – my most demanding project yet and icebreaker into animation is finally finished! It took a lot of effort and forced me out of my comfort zone in terms of animation, but I feel so much richer with experience now and have a way clearer picture of what can be done. Checkup Blues was made as practice in mundane animations, and to see if I could handle an animated story of 3-4 minutes(though it turned out closer to 5). I think this is a good start!
I could go on and on about what this project has given me and how I've grown through it, but that's a story for another day, no? Right now, I just want to throw this thing out there and actually be able to move on and start using what I've gained from it, because boy am I aching to try some stuff out...! There are still som very minor stuff, but I didn't want to spend all eternity re-rendering and fixing every little detail – it's time for me to look forward!
Remember that there's not a whole lot of sounds going on, so don't crank your volume up needlessly. There's a faint background noise all the way – if you can hear that, then you should be good! I was looking for some sort of melody to have in the background, but couldn't really find anything that would subtly convey the tension I was trying to create. Next time I'll have something with more sound!
Anyway, without further ado, here's Checkup Blues!
The animation is currently only available through the above link and not the regular Mega archive. Right now I'm reorganizing the archive for when it goes public on January 1st. Checkup Blues will be added to the archive once I post it on Twitter, Slushe etc early January.
I really hope it is to your liking despite the lack of actual sexual action. It's a pretty low reward versus the amount of time it took to make, but I'm hoping that with the experience gained here I'll be able to close that gap gradually.
But for now, please enjoy! Do let me know if there are any problems with playback! And thank you so very much for actually waiting me out on this one, you truly are a magnificent bunch for supporting me through all of this!

But knowing after what kind of person the doctor is I can see the reason for doing what they did. The sound scheme was on point through out.
