130 - Dev Blog

Hello hello, everyone! It's your friendly neighborhood ghost Banshee coming at you with an extra ghostly Dev Blog! 

Now now, before you ask, no, Vane did not forget to write our dev blog this time. He's actually on "vacation"! But more about that in a bit, let's address the elephant in the room first: the delay of Chapter 9! 

As I hope most of you were aware, Vane was sick, his work schedule was a mess, and the possibility of a delay was mentioned last week! Now, while we would have managed to get most of what we needed for the build ready by Saturday, I felt like there were some things that could really use some refinement, due to some previous tight schedules. So, I talked to Vane about  wanting some extra time to make these adjustments, and thankfully he agreed! 

You all know this is not something we'd normally do, and we apologize for this delay, but delivering something that I wasn't super proud of didn't sit right with me, so we hope you all understand and look forward to this Friday! I promise I'm working extra hard to make it worth the wait! 

Ah, now about Vane's "vacation"! Since his work for Chapter 9 is basically done, he'll be taking a week off of RotWF to catch up on some side projects he'd been neglecting for a while, due to dedicating most of his time to writing sexy stuff. So yes, Vane's working when he's supposed to be resting... again. Someone hand me the tranq gun! 

Finally, I'd like to thank you all wonderful, beautiful people for your continued support (and patience)! It really means the world to us that so many people have faith in our work, and believe this little project we're working on is neat enough to support, so thank you all so so so much!
