Hello, hello! Another Monday, another dev blog!

First things first, how are y’all doing on this lovely Monday? Did you enjoy the latest update? We sure hope you did!

Now! The last update had no sex scenes, yes I know, you can boo us all you want, but we focused on getting the last scenes we needed before we can finally move on to the next act of the game done. We’ve been working towards this climax for more than two years now, we’re honestly a little nervous since everything up to now was building up to this and we really hope we don’t disappoint!

Unless Vane forgot someone, this update finished all the recruitments, so next update, the public release of Chapter 9, is going to be with the final scenes with the legion recruitment and the goodbyes to the characters that are going to be left back in Batria. As you can already guess, Chapter 10 will be all about the legion’s journey to Valante and beyond.

In Chapter 10, we’ll unveil the legion system! That sounds fancy, but it basically is a tracker of all the decisions you made when recruiting the legion and the many events that are going to happen during the campaign. The legion can grow stronger, weaker, unlock new powerful features, or become crippled. So every legion decision is important and will influence future events and battles! Now, before you become worried, rest assured that you won’t have to learn and manage a bunch of complicated mechanics, we’re committed to keeping RotWF as a narrative experience, and the legion system will be fully integrated into the story.

Finally, we would like to thank all of you from the bottom of our hearts for continuing to support our work, especially during these difficult times. We had no idea that this game was going to become anywhere as big as it did when we started, but thanks to your support, encouragement, and trust in us we have surprised even ourselves. Rise is becoming a titan of an adult game and we simply wouldn’t have been able to do it without you all. So again, thank you all so much! You are the absolute best!!
