Hello, hello! How are you guys on this lovely Monday?
Banshee did a little bit of progress on the new tavern system, but she couldn't resist working on the concept and sprite of our new vampire waifu! The edginess was just too tempting, and so, Banshee spent most of her week working on our new favorite hot goth gf.
Vane focused mostly on handling the build to take a little rest from writing and to fix a bunch of bugs that have been annoying everyone for a while now.
He also started experimenting with exporting the build to WebGL so we can have the game running directly on browsers. There are a few challenges with doing that due to the way the game handles files, they’re loaded only when they’re needed and on WebGL that means they are only downloaded when they are needed which leads to really long load times. The obvious solution is to pre-download everything and cache all the files on the browser, how to do that? Now that is what Vane is trying to figure out.
In any case, he is going to start writing again because we have a release this Friday as always so WebGL will be a side project. You can expect to get some Eleanor real soon!

Now we have a few reasons to celebrate this week! We finally reached $1000 here on Patreon! Aaaaaaaaah!! Thank you all so much! This is a very important milestone for us and we’re super happy about it, especially because this week (on the 20th, to be exact) marks the first anniversary of Rise of the White Flower! So thank you all so much for the best gifts we could ever hope for: this very special milestone, and this amazing community that we watched grow for this past year! <3
