While she had decided to look for Lucy, Irene had already found a corrupted Juvia and had begun conjuring a plan to counter Wendy's efforts. After some thought, Irene decided that best course of action was to fuse Juvia with her daughter's body. This would not only makes it much harder for Wendy to seperate and purify them, but it would make Erza stronger and in terms, makes Irene stronger. Obeying Irene's order, Juvia turned her entire body into water and completely enveloped Erza in it, then Irene casted her enchantment magic and slowly infused Erza's essence into the water. As the two mages are fused into one, the water gradually reformed into Irene's new body. Now with the powers and beauty of both Erza and Juvia combined, Irene wonder if the little Wendy could still keep up with her pace. If not, then she and her friends will be absorbed just like Erza and Juvia.
