Pokesync; Update On Health Concerns

I'll start this off by saying I don't have your typical health problem...  I just dipped into the 18s of my BMI score, which is very unhealthy.  I've always had a problem putting on weight and typically don't like to... eat.

It's not like I don't enjoy food.  Some of the editors will tell you the insane things I eat, and I LOVE anything with habanero in it.  I just only eat once a day and have to force myself to eat more, which... doesn't feel good.

Recently, my mom has become fairly concerned about my weight since I'm dropping to 106 to 110 lbs. (48 - 49.9 kg) if I stuff myself.  I have muscle, but it is skinny muscle.  Haha.  I'm trying to force myself to eat twice a meal a day but it isn't doing a whole lot to stop my weight loss over this past month, and trying to go to three times is making me feel ill, which... is why I'm writing this.

I probably need to push Pokesync to tomorrow since I felt groggy after eating and took a nap (I NEVER take naps but eating is so terrible!).  I burn a lot of calories in a day just going about my daily schedule for some weird reason (according to my fitbit watch).  My sleeping schedule has been bad, as well.

I am seeing the weight come back up to 113 lbs, which is an improvement, but then I slip and only eat once every 24 hours... 3 days in a row because I'm too busy and don't feel like taking the time to get something... bam, back to 108 and my BMI dips under 19 again.

It's sooo hard to find the energy to eat instead of doing other things.  I know I'm weird.  I hate sweets.  I only drink zero sugar (which, let's be honest, is only 1/2 as bad as real sugar, but it's my one vice).  I love hot things (A LOT).  I eat LOTS of protein (big burritos stacked with meat and veggies whenever I pass by Costa Vida, which is often), but my body has a hard time retaining it... and, I know, I generally only eat once a day, so there's that.

Long explanation, but just to give you guys a heads up as to why some things have been a bit harder for me or why I've been somewhat pushing things back a little from day to day.  I love writing.  I really do.  More than I apparently want to get up and cook something.  It's just a hard transition for me.

Sorry.  I have the problem most people wish they had, as I've been told.  T_T  My family is even calling me to make sure I eat every day.

No not really. It’s more of a psychological thing I think because I prioritize everything else before eating. Lol. Sometimes I play this game of ‘reward myself with food for finishing a task or chapter’ even though it is probably me just putting off eating to get something productive done.

Thanks for the advice. I’ll see what more I can have sitting nearby for snacks. My problem tends to be that I just don’t feel like snacking or eating in general, even if they’re near by. Snacks last months because I never break them open xD

Protein and fat are a lot harder to digest than carbohydrates, which isn't included on the nutrition labels. The same is true for unprocessed vs processed food. I'd check with a nutritionist, but it might be a good idea to have some processed carbohyrdate snacks around the house, to eat while doing other things. You'd be suprised how many calories one can consume, simply by having a bag of chips within arms reach.

Did you ever talk to a doctor about your situation? Sometimes the symptoms you have can be caused by other things.
