what happened? 
i'll start with the sad news: the creators of cosmosrp have disabled the free version of their model for game users, briefly the complaints are as follows:

1. the cosmosrp model was used in the game by default and many/some users did not understand which model they were using and what Pawan.Krd is
2. the purpose of the model does not align with how the game uses it

I understand that this is a private project, and the creators are free to do whatever they want, including restricting access to those they deem necessary, so I respect this decision and am immensely grateful for their work

internally, I cannot fully agree, in my humble opinion this is a manifestation of a small discrimination. I am trying to communicate, but it seems my position and proposed solutions will not be accepted. I do not hope and believe that this just needs to be accepted and move on

how does this affect the project?
the entry barrier for new users (especially those who are not yet familiar with neural networks) will increase. unfortunately, local models will not be able to fully mitigate this, at least for now. the role of the most accessible model shifts to gemini

what to do, is there a plan?
yes, and the good news:
I started integrating a local solution via koboldai. the choice fell on it based on recommendations from f95zone + it is easy to install for the user
by the end of the week, I plan to bring the local models solution to beta on windows and linux, next week – to finish and add the ability to play on android in conjunction with a running model on desktop

plans for the sandbox are shifting, priority is on the local model

what if I have a weak machine? 
unfortunately, there will be no solution in the near future, but there is a rather ambitious plan for the future: launch a local model on a powerful vps. everything here depends on the budget, optimistically planning to return to this idea in six months

ps: like the previous "roadblocks", I think this challenge will also help the project become more independent, I am inspired and happy to finally tackle what has been put off for a long time
