EDIT: Besides being available on Smashwords, it's now ready on Kindle! (still not paperback yet though, don't jump the gun!!)
This is FREE if you already have the ebook
There were a couple things that bothered me about the original release of TTL, so they have now been fixed (hopefully). This isn't a HUGE overhaul, since it started because I noticed some glaring typos in the first edition, some breaks in continuity with TCO, and a few sentences that should not have left final.
However I did change Gert's inner monologue and some of his dialogue in a couple of scenes. Writing The Captain's Oath gave me a lot of insight into how to build a character, and I wanted to make Gert's motivations feel less muddy. This shouldn't change too much--I'm not about to rewrite the book start to finish--and overall probably less than 2% of the book was rewritten.
The kindle edition should be updated once KDP lets me in [letmein.gif], but the print version of the book probably won't get an update for a month or two; I want to allow people further opportunity to report more typos or continuity errors I may have missed first.
Why a second edition? Well, to soothe my conscience for one, but also because I'm having an audiobook produced. More on that later!
