Seventeen - Nana Tour - Episode 6-3

Hello everyone and welcome back to the Patreon. We're back with another K-Pop reaction for you here today.

In Episode 6-3 of Seventeen Nana Tour, the members make their way to the charming town of Porto Venere, known for its picturesque beauty and a small, stunning castle as its main attraction. As the group explores the town, they take in the sights, visit local shops, and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of this beautiful Italian destination.

Exploring Porto Venere

The members wander through the quaint streets, stopping at various shops and enjoying the local culture. From admiring the castle to soaking in the town’s charm, it’s a peaceful and enjoyable part of their journey. However, when they head down to the water to dip their toes in, they’re in for a surprise—the water is much colder than they expected, leading to some hilarious reactions.

Boat Trip and Snorkelling

The final part of the day takes the group out on a boat trip for a bit of snorkelling in the Mediterranean Sea. The crystal-clear waters and scenic views make for an unforgettable experience, but the day isn’t without a bit of drama! The trip is almost overshadowed by Seungkwan’s Volleyball, which somehow becomes the center of attention, adding a chaotic twist to an otherwise serene adventure.

This episode is a perfect blend of relaxation, fun, and Seventeen’s signature humour, making it a must-watch for any fan of the group’s travel adventures.

im a bit late but i wanted to mention as i recalled that wonwoo has a water trauma as well, because he almost drowned (he was drowning but managed to live) as a kid. so whenever i see him in or enter water, i'm super proud of him working through it at whatever pace he is deciding. what a champ.

Travel Shows with kpop groups I love: 1. BTS Bon Voyage Season 4 (New Zealand) 2. Got7 Hard Carry 2 (honestly, also Hard Carry 1) 3. Seventeen In the Soop Season 1 4. Earth Arcade Season 1 and 2 (also by PD Na, Lee Youngji of No Prepare is a cast member so you can imagine the chaos)

marsssss

yess please check this out, at least the first one. so many fun facts and convos!

I’m afraid I can only suggest 17 going on a trip / vacation series: - in the soop 1 and 2 - one fine day yeosodo and Japan

love how since they had to squeeze this trip in between tour and comeback, Na PD and team thought it'd be merciless to have them do the usual Youth Over Flowers where they do missions throughout the trip. it's way more exhausting. also Seventeen has experienced a lot of those already in One Fine Day seasons 1 & 2. Nana Tour is really what they needed. ahh it's already been a year since they got kidnapped. 🥹

seconded! these would be good to watch before diving back into game caterers, if you want to :)

I absolutely love this episode - watching them being so free is just so refreshing! This is actually the first time they've done the Nana Tour format because one of the PD's on the production team really advocated for a more reward style trip for Seventeen as she thought they deserved the break after working so hard for so many years - and I totally agree with her! They've actually done quite a few Youth over flowers with actor groups - I've watched the Africa and Iceland one which were really fun!

minghao is the type who enjoys peace and being in his head because he loves thinking, he loves taking things in, feeling everything around him and really living in the moment. this is one of the reasons why he was taken so wholly by meditation. he got into it when he was going through a lot mentally and just in a very dark place and once he realized how much he truly loved the calm, the being with his thoughts, connecting deeply with his emotions he kept at it. said that meditation has saved him. you can see more of this in, in the soop where he meditated with members, showed them meditation with traditional chinese tea’s! he was absolutely fine here! so you shouldn’t worry. he’s just absolutely zen all the time. shows like this are my favorite as well. just seeing groups closeness and seeing them bond in such a relaxing way where they are not pressured to do anything but enjoy the moment. this is why i am so obsessed with svt’s in the soop two seasons, nct dream’s 7chillin in the dream/youth series (which i hope you guys can watch eventually). it’s something so healing by watching your favorite artists relax.

sincerely, nai. ♡

Seungkwan has said in an interview that when they first debuted they were told not to wonder by themselves or they'll look like they don't belong to the group (this included going to the loo). This meant that at first they were all like I don't want the loo so I'm not going, then learnt that if they all went then when they needed it someone would go with them. I'm sure they've said it's part of the reason they get along no matter what group, cause they're used to just being like: I want to do this, so do I, lets go. Or If I go here with you, will you go there with me. They also noticeablly seem to change who they're closest with as time goes on, Shua and Jeonghan were close at debut, then Shua and DK got really close, than Shua and Mingyu went to Hawaii together last year for example. There's examples with all of them changing though. Also the 8 is in general quiet and likes to spend time alone, he's the one that struggles with Seventeens noise the most.

seventeen's version of what youth over flowers normally is where they have to earn the food and it's more variety show is their show one fine day they did as super baby rookies like 2015-2016. it is harsh sometimes but overall, it is so good, they really had their variety show charms right away so soon after debut!

I love Na PD content. The previous seasons of Youth over Flowers were indeed fun. If Na PD didn't change the format of the show, this would be, I think the 6th season. SVT did experience a bit of YoF in their earlier years on One Fine Day in Yeosodo and One Fine Day in Japan. It would be best if you tried checking that out too since you guys are into travel with idol shows.

I love this episode so much. I'm afraid of swimming in the ocean with sea creatures all around me but I love watching others do it lol. And I live in Cape Town, South Africa. Lots of sea here by us 😂

Oh, there are also a couple of fun follow-ups to Nanatour on Na PD's channel! Chattering with the God of Music https://youtu.be/UuVyTVZ9yXg?si=eX--dRtFyJdaJeJw Chattering Again with the God of Music https://youtu.be/SRqQwZtChKM?si=IJca9KP1J1jzEKbR The God of Gratitude - Grateful to SEVENTEEN https://youtu.be/YC4kaZTjJwU?si=d8yomKWb_-37DJ_0

I honestly think one of the funniest idols-go-on-trip show was Three Meals for Four on Na PD's youtube channel, starring 1st gen boy group Sechskies. But I doubt there's an audience for it here...I'm not a Sechskies fan either. I just like Na PD shows, haha. 😄

yes the 7illin episodes are so good especially the first two seasons. wayv has a similar one called the summer talk. 127 also has a mini series called home (not) alone. it's not the most grand and adventurous but its ot8. they also have a youtube original series called analog trip that you seemed interested in while watching the guides, it is ot9. but obviously nct life would be the most similar to nana tour (be warned there are many seasons) 7illin would be my choice they would be quite quick to get through too!

Just finished the intro and I’ll say one thing before Nana Tour my favourite Idol travel show was BTS Bon Voyage specifically Season 4 in New Zealand, it’s breathtaking and was shot beautifully too, so it’s still up there for me. Edit: I forgot about the ball saga, things that happen to SVT is just pure comedy especially Seungkwan 🤣 Swimming in that beautiful ocean honestly looked like a dream and like Vernon said so freeing, hope I get to experience it one day.

Samy

Yayyyy! I really love how the boys were having fun here! And Seungkwan had so many moments here. Also btw not sure if you are aware, but this isn't the first time Seungkwan had issues with a ball while DK and Jeonghan were present at the scene haha. Also, I really love the I'm a Flying Butterfly song they were singing. The original is by a rock singer Yoon Do Hyun, though this is a really nice cover version of the song by 1997 liners of various groups~
