Added 2021-08-09 14:50:32 +0000 UTCSome sneak peeks of DanCre drawing! This linework is close to completion and I'm having lots of fun (and agony) drawing it. I slightly changed Credo's costume, just to make it more...understandable. 🤤
Ever since last month, switching from a pen display to a tablet, my hands are finally catching up with ideas, I'm redrawing less and feeling more controlling. And the physical issues causing by working gestures are less noticeable now. I don't mean to persuade people not to go for a pen display though, it's still worth it for many artists to go for a more intuitive/time-saving device.
This work is a bit too ambitious (yes even without a background it's still very challenging to me), I was lost several times trying to finalize it by inking and adding more details but turned out there's no need to make it super detailed/defined. Learning 'not' to draw everything is also important I guess...and I should invest more time learning how to introduce lineweight. 🤔

這張快完成了，先上一些過程截圖！畫這張中途卡了一些關，但後來都迎刃而解，另外也輕微修改了騎士長的制服，試圖讓它在視覺上合理一點。
上個月從繪圖螢幕派轉回板子派後，在構圖、畫草稿等方面突然變順手了...而且痠痛問題也減輕不少。寫這些心得並不是勸大家別用繪圖螢幕，總之能知道自己適合怎樣的作畫設備，大概真的很重要(汗)
這張構圖有點太具野心(是的就算只有兩個人，背景空空如也，對我來說還是很棘手orz)，中間迷失了將近一週的時間試圖重新描線、加上更多的細節...然後發現還是原本不太乾淨的線稿比較好看(汗)也許畫到這個程度對我來說就是「畫完了」，至於畫面有點白的問題，可能日後要學怎麼增加線條粗細變化來解決...

I’ve been wondering if I should invest in a display tablet myself, I drew on my iPad for a while but I switched back to my Intuos recently so I get what you mean. Remember to take care of yourself!!
