Redrawing old comics

Surely I'm very lucky to live in a region that's barely affected by the pandemic in the past year, so I don't mention it here often. Anyway, I'm hoping everyone here is still safe or well-recovered.
I've already done 20+ pages of half-toning + shading + some post-editing. During the process, I'm regaining some confidence and muscle memories of how I created doujins intuitively like before.
You might remember my eternal struggles about 'inking'. This time I tried not to over-think about it. It only started that I want to apply half-tone and some shadings, and then I'm slowly getting more used to just pumping pages and not worrying about how 'clean' or how 'accurate' it is. Then I made a test, to redraw the first page, and it only required 1.5 days!
It suddenly becomes possible to ink my comic sketches, since it no longer requires tons of time for a single page!
So I want to change the reward plan, but also need to make sure that I'm not saying it too soon. I now need another week to redraw more pages, to make sure my approach is solid for the new plan.
It's possible the comic reward announcement made on May 10th will be changed. So if you're currently not sure whether to pledge or not, you might want to wait for my next post, which will be shared within 7 days. And remember, your May pledge is refundable if the changed plan isn't what you want. Sorry for keeping you waiting!

各位晚安，這一兩週台灣疫情搞得大家心神不寧，總之我這邊沒啥事，希望各位都還安好。記得在家中進出門口整理出一個消毒專用區喔！
舊誌的後製已經進行了20多頁，但有幾頁還是潦草得不行，最近幾天忍不住又開始思考「乾脆就重畫吧」的可行性。
但各位可能也記得我數月前嘗試重畫的慘況，一張內頁要花一週重畫。最近因為後製途中試了不少筆刷和效果，誤打誤撞似乎摸索出一個能更快畫好內頁的方法。昨天索性拿第一頁開始重畫，結果從畫好線稿到後製完成，只花了一天半！
照這速度，重畫整本線稿似乎是可行的...！
原先在本月十號宣布的漫畫獎勵內容，可能會有所更動。但我想再多花幾天確認更動獎勵計畫的可行性。總之，我還需要一週，再多重畫幾頁試試。
假如在座有人還在猶豫要不要加入贊助，這邊先建議再稍等幾天，我會在七天內公告是否要修改漫畫獎勵內容。(假如可能更改的獎勵內容並非您贊助的目的，屆時您也可以申請退款) 希望這次真能找回畫漫畫線稿的手感！

Thank you! Actually it still requires many weird hacks to get myself comfortable with drawing digitally haha XD Hopefully the other pages also go well so then I can share the new workflows here!

I feel everyone outside Taiwan must have been living in a much harsher condition compared to mine. D: Thanks for the comment about the comic test, and oh I'm flattered you remember my mumbling *_* After I tried to find a way mimicking pencil drawing for illustrations, now I'm finding how to mimicking ballpoint pen drawing for comics haha. It seems the better solution for me is to find a comfortable workflow first.
