So my PC is in trouble :(
Added 2021-04-14 06:41:53 +0000 UTCKeeping getting these BSODs since late March. Last week it occurred more frequently and I was not able to persistently draw. It usually snapped every 10-30 mins.
The good news is, my working files are fine, my hard drives are not the culprit.
The bad news is, except for the drives, RAM, and CPU, I'm not sure which part is corrupted, and don't know how much time it will take to fix. My PC was recently brought to a friend for further tests. The mobo is the biggest suspect since being the oldest part of my PC, which was installed around 2011! I'm lucky that it survives for that long.
Another bad news is, I'm using a spare machine now, an 7+ years old laptop, not robust enough to plug in a Cintiq and run higher version of photoshop. I can only...doing some chores and continuing writing DanCre story for a while.
So the progress of illustration reward will be delayed. It'll depend on when my PC get recovered. I'll make an update in late April and decide whether to pause the May billing cycle again. Sorry for the wait :(

諸君，我工作用的PC掛啦。從三月底開始頻繁出現藍屏死機問題，最近一週是每10-30分鐘就當一次，四月初至現在都沒法專心畫圖。
好消息是，我的硬碟沒事，所有工作檔案和作品檔都完好。測試結果顯示，硬碟、記憶體(壞了一條，剩下三條沒事)、CPU都正常。
壞消息是，我不確定電腦修到好需要花多少時間。目前正在讓家人認識的朋友幫忙測試電腦，找出究竟是哪裡出問題。個人最懷疑的是主機板(其次電源)，因為它已經服役十年啦，撐這麼久才銼掉已經算很幸運了。
另外一個壞消息，我剩一個備用電腦可用，是台至少七歲的筆電，沒法用它插上cintiq、或順順地跑Photoshop，總之是暫時沒法畫CG的狀態。直到修好前大概都只能撿和畫圖無關的事情來做，比方說繼續補完DanCre故事劇本之類的。
本來預計四月底前要完成的插圖獎勵，看來是會延到五月了，我會在四月結束前上來報告最新狀況，屆時將視進度宣佈是否會再次暫停五月結帳週期。不好意思啊又讓大家久候了...:(((

2021-04-15 20:42:24 +0000 UTCAh that's a really old motherboard. Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if it was the culprit. Anyways no worries, take all the time you need! It's perfectly understandable you may have to pause Patreon again. I'm just so glad your files are safe:)
2021-04-14 15:03:55 +0000 UTCOh no, those BOSDs just suddenly happened without any warning signs. I hope you can find out the culprit behind your BSODs! Finding where's causing the issue is always the hardest part. I remember the day before the first time it showed up, my PC works perfectly fine, without any lagging or displaying issues. I also had suspected something like Windows 10 20H2 version conflicting with my old hardware. But in my case, even being recovered to 2016 state, it still crashes.

Not as often as you, but I never got them unless there was a severe memory leak from some program, and now I've had at least one every week. I wonder if it has something to do with the latest Windows 10 update, since my own hardware isn't anywhere near that old.
