After the previous post, I decided to be more specific in sketching. I tend to get lost easily in later steps, so it might still be better to make my sketches as thorough as possible.
既上一po之後,決心還是要來改良打稿的方式。從網路上多半能看到很多繪者有辦法一邊渲染/上色,一邊重新設計角色的造型,但沒有這種超能力的我還是選擇盡量先在草稿階段就把該設計的造型都清楚交代出來。
I've made some similar attempts --of trying to make detailed sketches-- during recent years, but failed in the later rendering process. This time I make some minor changes, like finding the right brush to draw lines/shading simultaneously, take more care about drawing every shape, and make the forms nature and believable.
又話說啦類似「盡量在草稿階段就構想好各種細節」的方法,我這幾年間也反覆嘗試過好幾次,但之後都在試圖增加更多灰調子的時候卡關。總之這次追加了一些細微調整,比方說找出能夠同時利用尖鋒描繪細線、和側鋒塗陰影的筆尖,以即盡量讓每個細節都符合透視與解剖,讓陰影看起來盡可能自然與可信。
The first image is what I'm going to finish in May. If things are not going well I'll update before 27th to let you all know whether the billing cycle will be continued in June.
第一張圖是我本月會繼續嘗試完成的草稿,如果後續卡關的話我會在27號之前上來公告是否會在六月繼續啟用結帳週期。
