Vocal kings. Hope you watch other concert stages from Exo, especially ones from their last concert tour EXplOration. e.g. Gravity, Damage, Wait; There is another live stage of Gravity from I think it was an SMTown concert... also really good)

2024-03-12 11:50:50 +0000 UTCThe EXOs do make live vocal mistakes. Like Baekhyun and D.O. have had their voices crack on separate occasions during Sing For You. No real harm done except Chanyeol loses his mind and is useless for the remainder of the song.

El Dorado refers to the mythic city of gold that many including the Conquistadores searched for and it also refers to a golden god and a legendary king. I have taken the song to be about EXO's pursuit of their dreams and the support EXO Ls have given them. I love this song and EXO's epic performance.

I actually tend to watch the one from Seoul (I think, it’s the other one with 2.4M views on YouTube), Baekhyun somehow managed to hit that note even better (if that can be believed) and I also prefer the camerawork. But this song!! It’s pure epicness, it feels like the soundtrack to a massive adventure blockbuster.

All are skilled and have such good support but imo Kyungsoo brings the resonance, power, and agility, Jongdae the unbelievable range and technique, and Baekhyun is versatile enough to sort of bridge the two and he often sets the vibe for what the song is about (which I personally believe is the reason why he’s first verse in a lot of exo songs).

Disney saw this performance and asked SM to come up with something to promote Star Wars. Hence EXO’s song Light Saber! There’s a short MV of it, it’s in Japanese. But of course, the live is always better. They have an iconic live with Light Saber, Overdose, Transformer!!! Lay is in it!!!! And actual light sabers!!!

U can watcg tvxq killing voice if u ever want to hear a very good live singer and hella good performer. Yeah exo n tvxq raise my standard so high that its imposibble for other to achieve it. Unlike groups these days, official light sticks and fandom names (EXO-L was given to us 5th august 2014, the car plate in kokobop referred to that and also Chanyeol has a tattoo of it) took a few years after debut. And yes EXO’s live albums are brilliant because of the grandeur of the concert versions of the songs and of course their immaculate vocals! I often listen to their live albums over their studio ones! Also fun fact, the el dorado performance with lightsabers actually landed them a collab with star wars and they released a song lightsaber.
