(R-18) The trials of render in 2018 December

This is a post for me to throw a bunch of process and practices to you.  Only the shouting Dante and the butt are the ones that I found possible to finish. Somehow I seemed to focus a lot more on 'sculpting' rather than 'rendering', which is hard to explain. And using the word 'sculpting' seems like a mistake since it's a word often using in a 3D environment.

Also, the tunnel vision problem strikes again when I directly applied high-contrast/wide range values on the canvas. My workaround is using simplified and low contrast values and slowly adding darker values later. Not an efficient solution, but it grants me a lot more ease to paint.

Originally I plan to make a chart to visualize and analyze the value control and what brushes were used for certain steps, so my patrons could suffer less of my gibberish and weird English, but it literally requires days to sort them all out. Here's a screencap of it:

這是一個讓叭子在跨年夜時分很煞風景地向各位丟過程圖和練習圖的帖子。在這之中、只有那個張嘴打呵欠的蛋丁和屁屁(畫那張時我心中想著的也是蛋丁)算是有辦法完成的作品。從這些練習中我也注意到比起渲染(render)、我可能更傾向專注在雕塑(sculpt),但雕塑這個字一般都用在3D作業環境,在2D繪畫裡好像很不常見,不忍覺得自己可能根本就混錯圈子(抱頭)

又話說,和畫線稿時遇到的問題很類似,我在渲染時也很容易被高對比拉開注意力,用英文來形容就是tunnel vision,意思是視野受到限制。我的注意力好像有很多問題呃啊啊啊啊。目前我正在一步步找出解決的方案,目前揣測、一開始利用極有限而且低對比的灰度,然後漸進式地慢慢加進更暗的色調、似乎是比較容易控制的畫法。雖然這招畫起來還是嫌慢,但畫的過程會覺得輕鬆很多。

本來我打算在這帖裡面加進圖表、分析每張練習圖所使用到的灰度和筆刷,但一整理起來才發現哇靠真的有夠花時間,這部份還是留給2019再來聊吧!歹勢這帖的解說並不多!最後丟一張圖表製作中的截圖(圖已經附在上半部,到時會附上中文版)。
