Title is the new lesson I learned. Getting stuck at this messy stage, and I can only call it a...a sketch. It should be easier if I just re-draw a more defined sketch and repaint from start. But this method might be good for doing sketches of bigger project including strong light source and complex forms (so at least I can have a better idea to design the light and composition). I'm currently doing another practice, and trying to get more control on the value range. (Will post them soon)

Also last week I mentioned a PS brush pack from Ruan Jia. In case you have no idea what purpose those brushes are for, here's a list showing how I sort most of the brushes I find on the internet:

Tips: Don't smudge too often, use brushes to add values as best as you can; only use smudge tool when necessary.
P.S. Some of the Stamp brushes could be used as smudge tools but I'm not 100% sure. (Basically I barely use them)

一開始沒好好規畫灰度的範圍,很大膽地從黑畫到白(這好像叫明暗法),結果是真的很難畫。雖然說這種劇場感光線很立體很吸睛啦但對目前的我來說太難控制了orz所以這張目前嘛頂多就只能拿來當...當草稿用吧,哪天我終於和灰度熟起來以後搞不好就有能力回來完成它了。

話說上週我在某PO裡提到阮佳的筆刷包,假如不曉得怎麼使用這些筆刷,這邊提供一個分類法供各位參考,基本上我會把網路下載到的大多數筆刷包都做這樣的分類:

還有其他奇奇怪怪用途的筆刷(毛皮、特效等)就不特別提了。某些打印筆刷可能是拿來當塗抹工具用的...不過我沒法子肯定,但我也幾乎沒在用這類筆刷。
提醒:不用過度使用塗抹工具,因為塗抹工具很容易把一些精細的塊面或灰度變化破壞掉。盡量使用筆刷來推調子和結構,只在必要的時候才使用塗抹工具。
