This is an illustration I recently delivered on Skeb.

When I saw the request, I thought, "This is going to be tough to draw," but I wanted to see this scene, so I did my best! I wasn't sure whether to draw Rex in his normal costume or in his master driver costume, but I decided to go with the master driver costume because of Pneuma's presence. The official drawing of Rex in the Master Driver costume is cool..!

And I'm working on the next sketchbook picture as soon as possible. I'll give you a glimpse of the progress in progress for those who always look at it 😉 Good luck!

Practice and Comments

Hello.

I would like to share my drawing practice and my impressions of it.

I usually do croquis and black-and-white reproductions, but I rarely practice with colors and backgrounds, so this was a very fruitful practice for me. The reason why I practiced this time was because I thought that I would be better suited to painting without too much coloring, I wanted to learn accurate lighting, and I wanted to improve the balance of my face, which is too clumsy and too much in the way it is drawn now. I used the "Catalogue of Poses in Light and Shadow" by Mahr, Inc. as my reference material.

I used Procreate's "distortion" tool a lot to correct the face, so it's not clear how I drew the face. I need more practice on this facial balance.

Also, the wrinkles on the clothes! I always draw things by accident, so it was good that I was able to draw it properly while looking at the materials. This also needs practice.... In the end, I still need more practice for all of them! I concluded that I still need more practice in all of them, but I realized a lot. Maybe I can improve if I incorporate these practices in between?

When I uploaded this picture on Twitter and Misskey, I got some responses, and I think I did a good job with the facial balance (in my case, the number of likes is totally different between the secondary and primary works, but I got a lot of likes for the latter!) ).

I'll also leave a brief making of it.

Skeb Progress

Hello. Thank you for your help. Today I would like to share with you two progress on Skeb.

The first one is Queen Nia. It will be completed by +3 people. The composition is quite complicated and difficult, but I am enjoying painting it.

The second case is Homura...but please be careful to view it because of the bondage expression.

I have already finished the color placement for this one, so I still need to do some detailed drawing and some differences. I hope to deliver it by the end of next week.

I am very encouraged when I receive requests from people who have good manners and are very polite on Skeb, as well as on other support sites. The first request I received was also an NSFW project, so I guess there is a demand for it! I have also sent a few requests as a client, but NSFW is more common (laughs).

Well, that's about it for this issue. Please take care of yourselves as the temperature and pressure fluctuations are quite extreme.

Thank you for your help. It is already the last day of February. How fast! My original plan for February was to take it easy, but it turned out to be quite a busy month. But I was able to deliver all of the Skeb projects that I am currently accepting, so I feel like I have met my quota.

February is the anniversary of the release of Xenogears and Xenosaga, Pokemon Day, and many other game anniversaries. I could not draw anything for the anniversary of Xenogears, but I did draw Barthes at a later date. I couldn't draw anything for Pokémon Day... I want to draw something now. For the anniversary of Xenosaga, I drew KOS-MOS, which has already been published on Twitter and pixiv, but I'll put it here too. I tried to draw the face as much as I could, and tried new processing methods. The result is my favorite picture 😄.

Hello. Thank you for your help.

First of all, an announcement. We will not be offering a supporter-only request box for a while. The reason for this is that we want to concentrate on Skeb and we have other projects in the pipeline, so we are not able to do that much. We apologize to those who have been supporting us for this purpose. We will let you know when we will resume.

We are working hard to deliver one more Skeb project this month. We will publish the difference and other information here.

As a recent development, the manga "Hyperinflation" was so interesting that I ended up drawing fan art on the spur of the moment. The characters and dialogues are unique and the contents stimulate my appetite for knowledge, so I was curious about the rest of the story and read it in one sitting. With only two episodes left in the series, I can't wait to see how it all ends.

Xenoblade 3 also came with the third DLC, so I played the new hero quest and the Daimajyo once for now. Can't wait for the fourth installment now that the footage has been released!

I also finished up Hikari, whose rough sketch I released the other day. I hope she'll have lots of expressions like this after the ending 😊.

Thank you for January!
