Starting SOO 2

Hey everyone!

I have been chipping away at Delvers LLC 5, and it's fun when I'm working, but I've been dragging at times.  I was talking to Melli today about it and I definitely have some kind of depression.  In some ways, it feels like my seasonal depression from Winter just never actually ended.

Of course, all of this is potentially complicated by the fact that I'm a professional creative and that 2020 kind of tied me into a pretzel.  In some ways I still haven't recovered from 2020.

In my experience, the only way to really deal with depression (for me) is to keep trying different things to either lighten the grey or to put a crack in it.  Staying still for too long and/or not struggling makes it much harder to dig myself out of the hole.

While I was talking to Melli, the subject of SOO came up...and it's been rattling around in my mind ever since.

I'm not going to stop working on Delvers LLC...I still have to honor the promise I made to my readers, even if I am going to be a little late.  However, I think I'm going to take a shot at actually writing SOO 2 as well.

So TL:DR, I've been in a funk and I don't want to get burned out on Delvers.  As a result, I'm going to begin work on SOO2 soon.

Hopefully working on a new story will help my state of mind and help me get jazzed about writing again so  I can hit my goals for this year.  Taking on more projects has, in the past, actually greatly increased my productivity and gotten stories out the door faster.
