Update 4/1
Added 2018-04-01 19:45:42 +0000 UTC
Hey all,
I've decided to address a few things folks said in my last post...and admit (again) that I suck.
I'm still not done with the next chapter. This one is really setting up Christopher's character, and I have to do it right.
Anyway, RE: health stuff:
I am on COBRA health insurance. It kind of sucks and it's very expensive, but I still feel very fortunate to have it.
You all are already very generous on Patreon, and I would never, ever ask for anything more from you.
...hell, one of you even sent me a chair in the past. Like, the chair I sit and write in every day was a gift from a reader. That's amazing.
But if anyone ever wants to throw a tip at me, the link is here:

It kind of embarrasses me every time someone tries to send me money and tells me about it first. On Facebook, a reader PMed me and tried to tip me, and I was so non-FB-savvy, and low-key embarrassed, I never even accepted it.
I kind of suck at this monetizing art thing. I should get a manager so I can just be a writing monkey...and so someone can take care of my stuff if I need to go to the hospital or whatever.
Anyway, right now I'm listening to some relaxing music and trying to pound out this chapter. Lying down makes me feel more normal so the temptation is there to just sleep and make the day pass by quicker before scheduling my CT, but I'd feel way too guilty.
For now, I will keep working on this chapter. Hopefully, the next one after that will come a lot faster.

2018-04-05 13:45:27 +0000 UTCOh good lord cobra, I remember that from when I got laid off a while back... Better off moving in with Luke c...(lots of Russian letters). I spend my days in PT and going to a neurologist and such then off to work. sleep seems to be my only main relief and good it's so tempting to just sleep all day heh even then lying down to sleep is insanely painful but movement is something I have to do so I put on an audiobook book get lost in some other world, walk, stretch at the gym, pt. It's been a rough few months but I'm lucky I have state job with great healthcare, I don't know what I would do if I had to manage it while I was back on cobra after getting laid off. Hoping for the best for ya a a speedy recovery.

2018-04-04 09:13:40 +0000 UTCTry drinking aloe vera juice, center filet unless you need to crap. I had massive stomach issues, a bunch of gastroenterologists and bad advice later nothing had fixed anything. Started drinking aloe vera and some caps of apple cider vinegar plus activated charcoal at the beginning when symptoms got real bad. Took about a month and my stomach was better. I drink aloe for about a week every other month, 8oz with each meal and my stomach has been fine since. Also I swapped to a Paleo diet which reduced the systemic inflammation I'd been plagued by. I was issue free till recently when my diet became less Paleo and more cake and pie indulgent, problems cropped back up. I've gone Paleo again my issues have subsided again despite my high stress job. I hope this helps, maybe.

2018-04-02 16:41:35 +0000 UTCThanks. That's what everyone keeps telling me, but I have a hard time relaxing about my work...which is probably not helping my stomach problems. :/ I'm aware I have a problem. My only consolation is I know of at least 2 other writers in the genre with similar issues.

2018-04-02 14:30:54 +0000 UTCThanks guys. And seriously, I appreciate the tips but you guys don't need to do anything else other than be patient with me. I promise I will be writing whenever I can. Hell, I'll be taking my laptop to the hospital.
