I realized I don't have many (ANY?!) comics with just Vincent and Cooper! I guess I don't really think from that prescriptive? I decided I needed to fix that, so I put together this comic from bits and pieces of their conversations.
Youngest likes to chatter away about nonsense and he went through a big phase of looking up houses to buy on Amazon and making plans for his grown up life. He talks less babyish now, but the adorable way he spoke has stuck with me and I can replicate it accurately -like, I didn't even have to edit this, I just wrote it straight out and thought "Yup! That's him!"
He's spoken in length about wanting babies before (a boy and a girl I think?!) and also a pug. Honestly the pug is the bigger concern for him, but it would have been weird to include in a comic with pug people! Oh and his wife is going to be the girl that works at Spirit Halloween, but I thought that might be going too far for the age he is the comic! 😂
A few years ago I overheard youngest telling oldest that babies came from Amazon (I suspect J might have been behind that one!) Oldest wasn't buying it and I almost went with that for the comic, but you know another thing I realized? I hardly have any comics where the boys are being nice to each other! The real ones can be very sweet together (especially when they think no one is watching!) and I thought Vincent being sweet here could be a wholesome twist. Our youngest is always so happy when his big brother approves of him, so I pushed Coop from being pleased to completely starstruck at the end for added "aww!"
