Currency Change?

Tax season has come once again, and once again I'm sitting here sifting through my income from commissions and patreon and trying to make out what belongs where, which transaction is from what source and such things.
It occurred to me that I can change the currency patreon charges people in, or rather the currency it then sends to me after it has charged my patrons. The weird part is, when I view my page in public mode, it displays my prices in €uros, despite me having the billing currency currently set to Dollar$. It's making me wonder whether patreon is playing some kind of exchange rate games in addition to the fees they deduct from just operating the service, but that's not really my prime motivator here.
My problem is that, as things stand currently, at the end of the month I have to manually convert the $ income to € for my bookkeeping, at whatever exchange rate it is at that point, and aside from being a somewhat inexact science for someone who hasn't studied economics, it's also immensely time consuming and a huge headache if I want to do it right (which I do, because the alternative is getting slapped really hard by the FMA, if I mess up by too big a margin, and I'd rather avoid that <_<).
So I'm wondering whether you guys would be fine if I switch my operating currency to € (which, like I said, patreon somehow apparently already does in the public space?), or if that's gonna be an issue for any of you? The exchange rate hasn't fluctuated too heavily over the last couple' years, so I don't expect this to be a massive change in expenditure for anyone, but it's hovered between the 5-10% margin and I'm not wanting to just suddenly spring this on anyone without having consulted with you guys first, since I'm honestly not sure how patreon operates the exchange rate thing.

Switching currencies won’t change up the costs anyway, right? I’ve only seen Patreon charge in the ol’ dollarydoos.
