Development Update #44

Hello there guys, the next weekend from now, April 25, I'll be releasing the next alpha.

This month is being very, very difficult for me to work on. Lots of personal issues, had to change my Pc Case because the old one was really needing to be changed, and given the bad quality of it I had a very hard time removing everything from it, I'm still without my mouse and I'm using a very weird and bad wireless mouse I have as a backup, and so on. But more than that, I'm having a very hard time writing the story of the game. I tried lots of times, and every single one of them I scrapped the material. I refuse to give you all a story I'm not satisfied with.  As you guys know, this game doesn't have the biggest story in the world, it's quite simple, there are no plot twists or stuff like that (That's a thing I want to do on the next game). 

For those of you who are wondering how much I've been making every month, the decision of not showing how much I earn every month was done to avoid some complaints from non-patrons (because you guys are the most amazing people I've ever met, always patient, always helpful), but it's not hard to find out how much I've made every month since I do add the Monthly Thanks Message, color coding every patron of the month. But TLDR for you all, I make around 150, 190 US$ Dollars every month. I don't want to enter in details here, but essentially this allows me to work more on the game than anything else and to save some money to pay for more art every three to four months. After all, the lead artist of this game needs to be paid for his stunning work.

So, thank you all for your patience with me, and for being with me. I may not be the most successful creator here, but I am blessed with you all. 

Some of you even come to me directly to apologize for having to leave or downgrading your tier. Even before the pandemic, I would never complain about that. The fact that you guys are so good to me brings tears to my eyes every single time. 

Now, I talked about my issues this month, about how good you guys are to me, and a roundabout of how much I'm making every month thanks to you all believing in this project and in me, and by being incredibly patient with me, right now I'm just like this picture here: Blessed.

So lemme talk about other things, since I had some sort of creative block this month, I decided to use my time wisely and checked for any bur reports or dialog corrections you guys sent me. 

So, first of all, just as a patron did, if you find any weirdness with a portrait during a dialog, you CAN use the suggested correction box to put between brackets what's happening. One Patron did this to relate that a certain dialog portrait was wrong, and I fixed it. Thank you for that. What surprised me is that a new patron sent me more than 30 corrections and most of them were valid. Some of them had some punctuation issues that I had fixed too since it was from the early days of the game.

All these names are added or updated in the Credits Sections of the game (both of them). 

This month I doubt we'll have any new artwork for you guys I'm sorry. But thank you for your support.

The next alpha will be released with the final part of the first act of Wagner on Day 4, but that's not the end. He still has two more acts to be done. 

I'll only work on the next gallery part once you guys vote for it because it's a new part not planned and it means I'll have to change stuff around to add that as an option, so it will take me weeks to do so.
