Quick Update:

Act 1 - Part 1 was finished today, I'm finally happy with what I've got, but I can change my mind later. If that happens, you guys will notice because it will be different on other alphas.
Now I'm working on Act 1 - Part 2. This week I'll be checking how to apply filters on backgrounds (especially the ones that are done) to see if I can simulate other periods of time without tying the artist on making different variants of backgrounds, he already has a shit ton of work to do, and I don't want to make him busier.
I'm still searching for a royalty-free sound effects website to check if the game really needs those, it's possible to add them if necessary.
I'm still searching for musicians and prices for the game sound-track, I don't know when I'll be buying those and how I'll do it because there are a lot of legal situations I need to check before agreeing on anything. Right now though, with the amount I'm making, it's not possible to buy those. Even so, I am constantly checking on it.
The artwork for Wagner's Pool Bonding Scene is being produced by the artist, but since the quality of the drawing has to be on par with the quality of the backgrounds too, he's taking a long time. Remember that he's being considerate enough to work and give his character to this game too, so we'll wait. As soon as that's done I'll be posting here for tier 3 patrons.
I am thinking of opening a discord server for this project, but I don't know how this should work. I still need to do some research to understand how other creators do it, should I add patrons of a certain tier on it, and remove them later? Should I add them permanently there, after they become a patron at least? And of course, what are the differences between having a Discord Server and Patreon on itself to post news about the game?
Someone asked me if it would be cool for me to Livestream my work, but frankly, most of the time it's me searching how to fix a bug, how to make a system work, if Godot has some built-in tool for me not to suffer like hell making everything from the ground up, me coding how a menu works, me putting the text inside the game and, I writing more text.
Frankly, there is nothing cool nor interesting to watch on a stream of me, quietly writing, deleting a text, and sometimes even looking for hours to my scrivener screen trying to picture the best way to give you guys a good scene. So the answer is always no for that.
And finally, next week is the week I separated to correct all the text (we need to check for typos and re-read to be sure nothing is redundant and everything makes sense -- And by we I mean me), and then it's text transfer time to Godot JSON.
What I am thinking is actually make a video of me putting the text inside Godot while I talk and post it as a private video for you guys on tier 2+ to check, but again: It's nothing exciting. If I was the artist of the game (I wish I could draw anything) I think that would be a better stream for you guys haha.
Anyway, this is just a quick update of what I've been doing, and I wish I was faster at writing those stories.
As always, thank you all for helping me and supporting me, I know it's hard to keep supporting such a small creator like me, but it's thanks to that, that I can at least eat here and focus on the game, so thank you all.
